Choosing Clutches and Belts

We're slick rock productions and there's two questions that we avoid online that's clutching and belts. Um People message us all the time and they're like, hey, I wanna run 32 inch tires on my car. What clutch kit should I run? And that is a completely loaded question. It depends on how heavy your foot is. How heavy your car is your driving style, the terrain you run. There isn't a one size fits all when it comes to clutching the uh the one recommendation I can give you is if you don't work on clutches all the time and, and you're not familiar with how they work, get somebody who does because they can be detrimental on your belts. Um That leads me to belts, belts is a question that we get frequently but you know what kind of belts that we run, what we've had the most success with. And for the last few years, we've always referred to OEM belts. We haven't found anything that has stood up better than OEM belts, but G boost has given us a reason to change that answer. We've been running G boost belts for some time. These guys do a lot of R and D on their belts and they make inexpensive belts but they're not cheap belts. They make a really good product. We have a buddy who runs a Dino, he runs a horsepower wars and he told us that the best belts, the only belt that they have that hold up better than OEM belt is the sandstorm from G boost. And that says a lot. These are, you know, go up to 400 horses, power cars. So for you guys that should have a little bit of weight out there but their bottom of the line belt, they call it the cheap ass belt. That's their OEM replacement that is stronger than OEM. They're 100 and 19 bucks. They're uh extreme duty belt is their mid grade belt and then their sandstorm is their best belt. And so they're sandstorms like for Polaris Razor, they are 100 and 49 bucks for a can. They're 100 and 79 so they're substantially cheaper than an OEM replacement is.
