we're SlikRok Productions and a little tip for everybody when they're out there when you buy a new machine it's a really good idea to pull the spark arrestor out of the exhaust this machine's got about 100 miles on it we just bought it what happens is the packing the insulation that's in the muffler will start blowing out and it wraps itself around these you can't get out because of the gradient on it and sometimes you can hear a tone change in the exhaust it's a good indication something's going on but it restricts the exhaust from coming back out so it gets warm it can do some damage these are located on the tailpipe there's just a little eight millimeter bolt on them you can take them out you can check them you can inspect them but it's a good idea to check these on all your machines now back a lot of years ago they put these on exhaust because when things were carbureted if you backfire or whatever some Sparks that come out exhaust you can start a fire not such a big deal anymore with fuel injection it's really kind of a thing of the past but it's still a requirement by law that they're in there we would never recommend that you just throw them away but you should take them and you should pull them out and check them make sure they're clear you'll get better gas mileage out of it don't pay attention to it and it can blow your muffler no it really can
